The next two slabs come from the duo that make up – the defenders of vinyl, enemies of the digital sound – Xeongears and The Analogue Cops. Lucretio and Marieu both come from Italy but met up in Barcelona before moving to Berlin in 2006 to form a strictly underground vinyl label called ‘Restoration Records’, heavily influenced by the Pure Techno sounds from Detroit. The label is about to put out it’s sixth quality release in eighteen months so don’t be playing catch up for too long.
They will be appearing at Slabs of the Tabernacle with a back to back DJ set before the end of the year. Meanwhile here are two energetic sessions of Detroit house, techno and hi-tech soul.
